Pandas Essential Training (2017)
1. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this learning module).
I learned how to create pandas and organize data files in a viewable manner. The course begins with learning how to import the data into Python. Utilizing the data requires indexing and string handling. For example, string handling requires editing the text to be readable like adding “int” in front of numbers. The course continues demonstrating how to group data and creating maps. Pandas relates to my major because it’s part of learning how to use Python. Learning more about Python deepens my understanding of how to utilize the language in database organization.
