HIKE@SJSU President (now currently Treasurer)

    1. As the previous president I:
      1. Develop collaborative events and partnerships with more than three clubs and service organizations, thus increasing club retention and activity by 4% attracting more traffic to server.
      2. Established relationships with over 500 club members and maintained a positive club standing with actions and professionalism through strong interpersonal skills.
      3. Lead and trained a team of 6 officers to curate content and lead hikes, respectively.
    2. As a treasurer I:
      1. Maintain and organize the club finances
      2. Meet weekly with other officers to discuss projects (i.e. merch and events to fund)
  2. Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished)
    1. During my time as president, I organized collaborative events with other colleges in California to coordinate hikes. Our previous collaboration was with UC Merced.
    2. I help develop and analyze options for our HIKE@SJSU merch.
  3. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this exp)
    1. My experience as a president has given me leadership skills as well as management skills. Currently, as a treasurer, I am practicing feasibility analysis and resource management.
