HIKE@SJSU President (now currently Treasurer)

- As the previous president I:
- Develop collaborative events and partnerships with more than three clubs and service organizations, thus increasing club retention and activity by 4% attracting more traffic to server.
- Established relationships with over 500 club members and maintained a positive club standing with actions and professionalism through strong interpersonal skills.
- Lead and trained a team of 6 officers to curate content and lead hikes, respectively.
- As a treasurer I:
- Maintain and organize the club finances
- Meet weekly with other officers to discuss projects (i.e. merch and events to fund)
- As the previous president I:
- Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished)
- During my time as president, I organized collaborative events with other colleges in California to coordinate hikes. Our previous collaboration was with UC Merced.
- I help develop and analyze options for our HIKE@SJSU merch.
- What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this exp)
- My experience as a president has given me leadership skills as well as management skills. Currently, as a treasurer, I am practicing feasibility analysis and resource management.
