International Expansion Plan (TechWave)
This project was done to create an imaginary company that has operated domestically in the U.S. for some time. My team represents the top management of the company. After successful domestic operations, our management team decides that it is now time to establish operations in another country and become a multinational enterprise (MNE).
My team learned to think like managers who have to work through the interrelated issues in taking a company globally and setting up operations in a foreign company that is integrated with their home operations. This project had us think entrepreneurially and strategically as we learned experientially the issues, challenges, and opportunities that managers of international businesses face in today’s rapidly changing world.
