Interesting Facts
Some interesting fun facts about me:
- One of my favorite movies is Black Panther! It was the first Marvel movie I ever watched in theater. I never cared much for the MCU until I watched Black Panther and was amazed by the cinematography and action. A few years later, I invested many hours of my COVID-19 quarantine watching the MCU movies in order.
- I am also a big fan of TV shows, like Grey’s Anatomy. I am up to date on Grey’s Anatomy (currently season 20) and find myself emotionally invested in the show at this point. I also enjoy Korean dramas, like Weightlifting Fairy and Hotel del Luna. Comedy, action, romance, and thriller are all genres I typically gravitate to. The best shows are a combination of all of them!
- I have lived in San Jose, California my whole life. Being born and raised in San Jose, I have grown to love the culture and pace of life here. The diversity of people and cultures makes living here so exciting. Finding new restaurants and cuisines to try is always on my mind as I explore new spots in this vast city.
- Although new social media platforms having taken the world by storm, I always go back to YouTube. Youtube videos are always playing in the background of my day. Whether I’m getting ready for the day, eating dinner, or driving, I enjoy watching lifestyle, educational, and entertainment videos.
- When I am not at school or work, I love going to the gym. Health and fitness is an important aspect of my life that I have been able to incorporate it as a hobby, rather than a chore in my weekly routine. Building my strength has been a very fun journey for me as I have been going to the gym since I was 14.
- I’ve had small pets around when I was younger, like a goldfish and turtle, and I recently adopted a corgi puppy! Her name is Penny and she is so silly and energetic. I have learned so many things about caring for a dog: the responsibilities and my overbearing pet-mom tendencies.
- One of the coolest things I have ever done is participate in a talent show when I traveled to Jamaica! I was 7 years old and performed a gymnastics routine on stage in front of everyone at the resort. As a shy kid, I’m not sure how I managed to do cartwheels and handstand tricks in front of so many people. While the memory of performing may be cooler than what the performance actually looked like for everyone else, it will always be one of my biggest accomplishments.
