I was a notetaker for a Climate Change class in Fall 2025. I made detailed handwritten notes from the lecture, ensuring they were easy to read and legible. The content in the notes was not from the slides, but rather from the professor’s lecture to ensure that my notes are actually beneficial to the student. My takeaways from this semester long volunteering was – staying on top of deadlines since the notes had to be uploaded on time so they would be available for weekly homeworks and quizzes, and it also helped me to stay attentive in class as I was accountable for someone else’s study material.
