Effective Listening

Listening effectively is super important, especially in the field I am working in. I expect I will be using a lot of project management methodologies, and I will need to have constant communication with my client. I need to understand what they want and how I can provide such a product in a timely manner. Listening in on key details and engaging in the conversation will help build trust and make the client more willing to work with me. In my opinion, the most important thing I got from this LinkedIn learning was giving people your respect when they are presenting. Even if the material is not relevant to your job, it is always important to show professionalism because it’s very unempathetic not to acknowledge your co-worker.
