MISA Careers in Tech
A MISA-run event where three speakers working in tech discussed how to get a job in the ever-changing world of technology.
The most repeated tip by the speakers was networking. They emphasized the idea of a cold approach to recruiters and just showcasing what skills and value you can bring to their company. Additionally, they mentioned the importance of staying up to date with all the current tech, especially AI. In the workplace, creating small talk is super important, and knowing what\\\’s happening in the world of MIS is just as important. Overall, it was a very informative meeting that inspired me to attend more networking events and always keep myself busy with outside projects in order to sharpen my technical skills.
