Online T-Shirt Store
A little background of my team project. The goals for this team project was to create an online T-shirt store during covid where customers can access our services at anytime. This project was divided in 6 deliverables. Tees4u is a T-Shirt store that is located in a rundown shopping center. They sold T-Shirts and shirts of special crafts or custom designs where clients can bring their designs and can fulfill bulk orders or as many as they want to order. The Goals for this team project was to create an online T-shirt store. When all stores were closed for a certain period during Covid, and that created many problems for businesses. With restrictions to store capacity, customers were more hesitant to visit the stores in person due to the risk of the virus, causing our clients’ business to lose a lot of revenue. However, with the addition of an online store, not only will it help the business regain its lost revenue but also create a new category of customers that will purchase merchandise from the store. The contributing factors to why adding an online store is that they allow the customers to stay in the comfort of their homes to shop for clothing and add as many pieces they want to their cart without the hassle of a real cart. What we learned during this project was
- The requirements of online store like an website where customers were able to access store services at any time.
- With an online store, we don’t need to hire as many workers because everything can be done online and there is no need for a person to restock or run the cash register.
- We learned the method of bank payment process.
- We learned what specific things we need for our website. like customers, online store managers, bank for transferring funds and transactions, shipping companies etc.
- We learned how servers helping website to receive orders. We learned about server traffics.
- We learned how to use lucid chart.
