Building Trust
This course taught me the importance of building trust within your peers. I also learned how bias can impact that trust. I also learned that in order for your peers to actually have faith in your work, you actually need to consistently so up for them and put in the effort. In addition to this, I learned about the five predictors of trust which was: Integrity, competence, openness, concern for others, and consistency. This taught me that in order to be fully upfront and honest with my peers, I had to make sure that I am being truthful to myself. I had to work to deliver the best quality work that I can give. It also taught me the importance of building trust in teams. This will help me with my career because this will push me to work to the best of my ability to insure that I won’t be letting my peers down. This was a homework assignment for my business course and so this is extremely beneficial for me because this will help me in my path to becoming a business analyst. Overall, I would say that this is an extremely beneficial course that I participated in. I am grateful for learning about building trust within a company.
