During my internship at Adobe this summer, I had the privilege of attending the “Career Fest 2024: Flip your Narrative: How to Escape Your Mind Traps” event, part of Adobe’s Career Fest—a week of professional development sessions designed to equip interns and employees with essential skills and insights. This particular session was a turning point for me, as it highlighted how often we allow mental barriers to limit our potential, both personally and professionally. The speaker shared actionable strategies for identifying and reframing negative thoughts that can distort our perception of challenges. By embracing a growth mindset, I learned to view obstacles not as insurmountable barriers but as opportunities for learning and development. This experience was particularly meaningful to me because it equipped me with practical tools to enhance my self-awareness and resilience—qualities that I believe will be crucial as I navigate my career and future endeavors. I plan to carry these insights forward, using them to approach challenges with a more open and positive perspective.
