- AI for Social Good Explores the potential of Visual Recognition AI in Waste Management. When it comes to the sorting process, AI analyzes large sets of waste and classifies them into logical categories such as recyclables, compostable, or hazardous. Predictive AI will analyze and make proactive decisions on waste trends and give informative data analysis for decisions makers/mitigates the error of sorting. I learned that the AI has the potential of preventing unnecessary waste from ending up and landfills and ensuring recyclables are repurposed.
