Multipurpose Clerk in Part-Time Job
I held the position of a Multi-Purpose Clerk at the Lucky’s Grocery Store under the Save Mart Companies in San Jose, California. I interacted with customers and had to utilize skills including problem-solving, organization, and time management. My greatest accomplishment in this role was to work in multiple roles during the same day to ensure operations ran smoothly, like for example some hours I would be helping out the Deli Department and taking orders from customers, and other times I would be working in the front with the cashier, and interacting with customers. This experience prepared me for Management Information Systems in the sense that I can multitask and take on multiple roles on the same day, and balancing tasks including time management between the work and school balance.
