Bouldering

Today I went bouldering with my cousins for the first time. There were different levels of walls to climb, ranging from beginner to expert. I started on the beginner-level walls and was able to complete them. The first thing my cousin taught me was how to dismount the wall without injuring myself. As we progressed to the harder climbing walls, I began to become more fatigued, and my grip strength would give out on me. My favorite wall was definitely the one where I had to start at the bottom of a cave, and then climb backward and work my way uphill. I grew frustrated because my competitive drive had me determined to finish the difficult walls. Although I kept attempting the walls, I had reached my physical limits and had to call it a day. The gym also had boxes that you could stack up and test your vertical, so I ended up doing box jumps at different heights. Bouldering was a super fun experience, but I realized my back muscles and grip strength a weaknesses of mine.
