Marketing Association Consulting Program

  1. Act as a consultant within the consulting program in Marketing Association. Our primary goal is to collaborate with LinkedIn in furthering their marketing reach on campus.
  2. Worked on creating a thorough survey on Qualtrics to collect data on how SJSU students use LinkedIn. After collecting over 840 responses, analyze the data through Excel and data visualization tools.
    1. We hope to jumpstart a LinkedIn Ambassador Program on campus, similar to the already existing Adobe one.
  3. In this role, I learned how to use data to make informed marketing/business decisions, which is closely related to MIS. MIS collects, stores, and organizes business data, while data analytics processes this data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. Together, they help businesses improve efficiency, optimize operations, and make data-driven strategic decisions.
