I learned that critical thinking is the ability to think reflectively and independently in order to make thoughtful decisions. Focusing on the root cause issues critical thinking helps avoid future problems that can result from actions. I learned to define the problem I am trying to solve, and provide critical thinking tools, asking the 5 whys and 7 so whats, explored the 80/20 rule. This provide guidance on how to develop this skill across the entire team.
