Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity
I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley in their Playhouse Program, where my goal was to help build and prepare playhouses while supporting affordable housing efforts in the community. During my time volunteering, I helped construct and paint playhouse parts, contributing to projects that support Habitat’s mission of strengthening communities and assisting families to gain stability. This work helped local families and children by providing safe play spaces and supporting programs connected to affordable housing initiatives. Through this experience, I learned about teamwork, basic construction skills, and the importance of community service and collaboration in creating real change.
