Pantry Volunteer / Supply Organizer
The goal was to organize the supplies to ensure we had enough to give out for the day, distribute food and clothing to the community, and make sandwiches to give out as lunches for the children. We gave hundreds of families the essentials they needed for the week. In addition, we organized holiday events for Thanksgiving and Christmas to let everyone have a happy holiday and spend time with their family without worrying about food security. I learned how to organize a large group of over 200+ people daily and ensure everyone got what they needed by the end of the day. As well as managed inventory to ensure we had enough supplies and food for the week.
