Getting Things Done
1. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this learning module).
To get things done, we have to go through five parts, Capture, Clarify, Organize, Reflect, and Engage.
In the first part, Capture, we focus on collecting what has your attention by using tools, such as pen and paper, voicemail, and whiteboard.
In the second part, Clarify, we learn how to use flow chart to manage tasks. The main questions in the chart are \”Is this task actionable?\”, \”What\’s the next action?\”, and \”Will it take less than 2 minutes?\”.
In the third part, Organize, we need to put task to where it belong, such as organize the next-actions lists we have.
In the fourth part, Reflect, we have to reflect on our projects, and look forward and backward. We can schedule a certain time at the end of every week.
In the last part, Engage, we need to step back and see the whole game, and integrate all of parts we already have.
