Building Trust
I learned about daily trust builders. That means providing I am competent, providing I am reliable, aligning my behaviors and spoken values, being open and honest, and showing concern for others. Additionally, there are ways to boost trust through body language, word choice, and voice tone. This relates to my major because as I delve into team projects with other teammates, we need to trust each other not only during the preparation phase, but also the speaking phase. I will definitely use boosting techniques to ensure that my teammates are able to trust me in terms of reliability and hard work. I want to let them know that if anything happens, we can make it together and that I have their back.
