– I have learned public speaking skills because I have to run the meetings. This will allow me to deliver speeches with more confidence and clarity at work.
– I have learned to make better decisions for the team as a leadership figure. I learned that a leadership role won’t always be able to make the best decisions but pick the choice that has the most pros compared to cons. It will help me to make better decisions when I work on future projects.
– I have learned that failure is sometimes inevitable in a learning environment, but we can learn from the mistakes to improve future plans. It will help me be less afraid to try new things and improve my working methods.
– I have learned that a leader expresses both ‘warm’ and ‘leadership’. Sometimes we have to show a little bit of vulnerability to hold a safe space and let other people open up with us. It will help me to understand and communicate with my future team members and customers better.
– I have learned to focus on ‘who is my audience’ and adjust my way of speaking and energy accordingly. It will help me to know how to present myself professionally and appropriately.
– I have learned to take the initiative to talk to people, the importance of remembering others’ names, and the importance of following up a conversation. It helps me improve my interpersonal skills which is an important soft skill that I’d need for every job. - Media:
