Created a complete website with a team of 5 people for a mock gynecologist hospital that my group named BloomWell. It includes six main sections in the navigation bar with multiple pages when necessary. I worked on the Appointment Booking page mostly which involved creating calendars and utilizing MongoDB, Express, Node.js, Mongoose, and JavaScript to link a backend that saves the booked appointments to a database and does not allow users to double-book time slots. I also utilized AI tools to generate doctors and nurses and created information for all staff. I combined the whole group’s work to become a seamless, integrated final product and edited the CSS, information in other web pages outside of what I was responsible for, and implemented the dark mode feature across the board. I also conducted the testing and deployed the website to GitHub (and also worked with Render to deploy the backend).<\/p>\n
I learned how to work with many new technology platforms including GitHub as well as collaborate with a team to code a project.\u00a0 Outside of the technical aspects, this project gave me the opportunity to practice my project and time management skills as I divided and delegated work and ensured our group completed tasks according to our Gantt chart timeline. The deliverables included this website, the raw code, two presentations, and three papers.<\/p>\n
