Hi,
My name is Somto Obasi. I am currently a student at San José State University, pursuing my degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. Alongside my studies, I serve as the Vice President of Admin and Finance for the Residence Hall Association, where I help manage budgets, support events, and foster community engagement on campus.
I have hands-on experience in leadership, finance, and project planning, and I’m always looking for opportunities to grow in areas like business analysis, consulting, and technology. Recently, I completed certifications in project management, data analysis, and cybersecurity, which strengthened my problem-solving and analytical skills.
Beyond academics, I’m passionate about mentoring and giving back. I enjoy helping new students transition into college life and building spaces where people feel supported. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue developing my skills through internships, leadership roles, and collaborative projects.
