- First was the welcoming and opening remarks from the CEO of Scholars of Finance.. Then we had Fireside chat with Aarthi Sowrirajan, Managing Director of BlackRock Equity Private Markets. Followed by Executive Panel with Gilbert Szeto, Executive Director at JPMorgan; John Josi, Business Operations and Strategy Manager at SoFi; George Arabian, Managing Partner at Steelhead Ventures; and Ted Lucas, Managing Partner at Hartford Ventures. We closed with another fireside chat, Arvind Purushotham, Global Head of Citi Ventures.
- I learned a lot more about the economy, finance, and how the world/business works. With the speakers ranging from different ages, I was able to hear insight on how much things have changed.
- This relates to my coursework and goals because it provided me an opportunity to netowork with high level industry professionals and connect with them. I also have an interest in finance, so this event was engaging for me.
