Web Developer at SJSU Spartan Analytics
I am currently an officer for the SJSU Spartan Analytics as a Web Developer.
- My primary responsibility is to ensure that the Spartan Analytics website is not only functional but also visually appealing and user-friendly. This involves collaborating with club members and leadership to understand their website requirements and goals. I work on creating layouts and interfaces that are responsive and optimized for various devices and browsers. Additionally, I am responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or bugs that may arise, as well as implementing security measures to protect user data and prevent cyber threats. Furthermore, I collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to keep the website content up-to-date and aligned with the club’s announcements, events, visual cohesion, and brand identity.
- One of the ongoing projects I’m currently working on is the website update for Spartan Analytics. This project involves redesigning certain sections of the website to enhance the user experience and modernize the overall look and feel. It also includes integrating new features to improve functionality and engagement. Through this project, I am not only improving the website but also gaining valuable experience in project management, user experience design, and web development.
- My role as a Web Developer has equipped me with crucial technical skills, project management abilities, and an understanding of user experience design and data security. It enabled me to bridge the gap between technology and business, manage IT projects effectively, ensure user-centric system design, and prioritize data security.
