Effective Listening
1. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this learning module).
From this LinkedInlearning module, I learned the importance of actively listening when working with others. Active listening means paying close attention, asking clarifying questions, and reflecting back what was said to make sure there’s a mutual understanding. This relates to my MIS major because MIS professionals often act as a bridge between technical teams and business users. By practicing active listening, I can better gather user requirements, understand client needs, and communicate solutions clearly. It also helps reduce errors, builds trust, and makes collaboration more effective, which are all crucial in MIS projects where both technology and people need to align.
