Even if an activity doesn&#8217;t involve much professional development, I always enjoy supporting the community around me. I had the pleasure of attending the Trans Teach-In at SJSU, where renowned trans journalist Erin Reed gave a talk on transgender civil rights. I learned a lot about the current events around these issues and how I can better support my community. I only wish I could have stayed for the whole event, where they had a student panel, but alas, I had a class soon and had to go!
