10 Lessons Learned to Grow from $0 to $100M ARR

The event is sponsored by SVCE-IDEAS (Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship), Monday, February 19 from 6 to 7pm (latest 7:15pm) in the SJSU Student Union Theater. The speaker is SJSU (BSBA-IB) alumnus Alfonso de la Nuez, Co-Founder & former CEO of UserZoom, Startup Advisor, Investor & Author.

I learned that working in a group is hard, and there should always be a leader, whether it’s the right call or the wrong call, there must be one person to decide. He also is a great example of knowing when to stop in career to spend more time with family, because as the speaker said he didn’t want to quit the company, but he eventually did.
This activity doesn’t relate to my coursework directly as it’s about entrepreneurship, but I think there’ll be part of me ready to team up and start a company whenever there’s an opportunity, so it’s a valuable speech.
