On April 5, 2023, Financial Advisor Aaron Foster came to talk to the BIA through Zoom.
- What you learned
I was able to learn about his career and how he went through a non-conventional route to get to where he is. He also explained the job opportunities available at his job. It was interesting to see learn about his job culture too. We also were able to ask him questions and he gave us some tools to learn more about investing and trading.
- How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals
This event relates to my career because I am going to study Accountancy for my Master’s degree and by learning about his experience I would be able to understand what I would be learning in the future. Learning from professionals is a great way to figure out where my career can take me.
