Biography
Originally from Yangon, Myanmar, Zwe Lin Htet’s journey to San Jose State University(SJSU) reflects his academic excellence and personal development. Zwe started his academic journey in the United States by attending De Anza College at the end of 2021. He achieved his associate degree in business administration from De Anza College with a 3.97 GPA. After that, he transferred to SJSU to obtain a bachelor degree in business administration with a concentration in management information systems(MIS). Since arriving on campus, Zwe has immersed himself in both academic and extracurricular aspects of university life. As he co-founded and served in the Burmese Student Association Club at De Anza College, he is also trying to recreate the club by uniting all the fellow Burmese international students from SJSU.
While studying at De Anza College, Zwe has worked as a cashier in De Anza College Dining Service. From that job, he improved his skills on how to interact with a wide range of customers on a daily basis and how to provide friendly, efficient, and helpful customer service. Also he discovered his skills on juggling multiple tasks simultaneously from working as a cashier in such a fast-paced college environment.
Apart from working at the college dining service, he enjoys exploring the lively culture and diverse communities of the Bay Area by visiting museums, galleries, and historical sites during his free time. Looking ahead, Zwe is excited to apply his knowledge and life skills to tackle real-world business challenges and drive organizational success. With dreams of working at a big tech company, he is determined to make his mark on the global stage in business and technology.
