Getting Things Done

1. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this learning module).

I learned all about the Getting Things Done Methodology. The course taught me how your focus and attention is more important than time management. You have to pay attention to what has your attention. The set of practices in the GTD methodology includes: capture — collect what has your attention, clarify — process what it means, organize — put it where it belongs, reflect — review frequently, and lastly engage — do what needs to be done. This relates to my major because in a high speed society, applying these principles can allow me to become more productive and be fully present in school and professional environments.
