HKSA Historian

I am currently the historian for HKSA (Hong Kong Student Association) on campus and my job function includes taking pictures during events and promoting our club around campus. We have a fairly smaller group of members this semester so we are trying to find innovative ways to entice other students to join and get involved on campus.

Examples of projects include helping create new club event ideas such as bowling or game night. These events must be of a social nature that more students will be more incline to join and tell their friends about. Future projects include getting involved in more tabling and networking with other social clubs as well.

I learned the values of teamwork in a smaller scale with our team of 8 officers and seeing each officer’s vision for the growth of our club. It is a beautiful process to get to know each person you work with as I try to work my way into the project management field in the future.
