110B Project
The goal of the project was to make a platform that can help students who are constantly being relocated be able to stay on track and progress through the grade levels. Professor Yasin Ceran has a database that he wants to use which has data on refugee students, volunteer teachers, and donors. We are creating a platform to connect refugees with volunteer teachers and donors who want to give their own time and money in order to support these students. Our end goal is to create a platform where students, volunteer teachers, and donors are able to login and access the same database making it easy/safe for all three end users to connect with each other from across the globe. What I learned was how to work on a group MIS project, and hitting checkpoints on time with the project. I also learned more about databases and how they function.
