Pandas Essential Training
In this module, I really got a grasp on the fundamentals of pandas, which nicely complemented what I’d learned about pandas in my previous Python class. It helped me understand pandas functions better, especially for analyzing data. Exploring different pandas functions really sharpened my ability to interpret and understand data effectively.
Among the functions that stood out to me, I particularly loved how versatile ‘groupby’ is, allowing me to split DataFrames based on specific criteria and apply functions to each group independently. And ‘seaborn’ plots were a game-changer for visualizing data, offering a wide range of chart options that made insights much clearer.
On top of that, this module introduced me to Jupyter notebook for coding, which was new to me since I’d been mainly using Google Colab. Trying out different coding environments like Jupyter has broadened my coding skills and understanding.
