Rakuten information session
I attended this event to learn about Rakuten as a company and what they seek in their interns and professionals. The presentation was excellent, and I gained valuable lessons. The presenter emphasized the importance of confidence during interviews and preparation through mock interviews and researching the company beforehand. She also highlighted the challenge many students face with behavioral questions during interviews and encouraged practice.
Another significant aspect I learned about was Rakuten’s diversity program. They have various diversity initiatives, and one that particularly caught my attention was their program for individuals with disabilities. As someone from that community, it resonated with me, and I am now motivated to explore how companies align with my values and provide support in my future career.
