Building Trust (2018)
Trust is something that takes a lot of time to build and seconds to destroy. In the field of MIS, you will be working with other professionals on projects to accomplish goals. In this learning module, I learned more about to be trustworthy, assess other’s trustworthiness, and regain lost trust. One of the concepts I learned was being reliable as well as open and honest which leaves people with a strong impression of you as someone who gets things done. Another was giving feedback to someone who is agreeable but the quality of their work is not so strong. The person may be good to work with but if their work isn’t up to standard, may not be chosen for harder projects. One of the final concepts was regaining lost trust which basically comprises of being upfront, getting back on track, and following through with your promises.
