Barik’s Bio!
Growing up in the Bay Area and being surrounded and influenced by innovation from different companies, Barik always had a keen drive for curiosity and learning more through hands-on action. As he pursued higher education his past experiences had channeled through and pushed him to find a major that would be dynamic enough to help fuel growth and new ideas. He chose Business Administration with a focus in Management Information Systems to help him achieve this goal. In the future, Barik hopes to help create a more sustainable infrastructure and environment for the planet that can ensure the success of future generations.
In addition to working toward a university degree from SJSU, Barik does have prior qualifications that have put him in a position to help him succeed. During high school, Barik worked in community relations where he advocated for the completion of the census and other types of voting. He and his co-workers were able to reach out to approximately 100,000 contacts in California. This experience aided his communication and critical thinking skills as well as his self-awareness as he was able to connect with the community and take feedback and criticism.
Moreover, Barik attended Ohlone College where he earned an Associates’ Degree in Business Administration and Economics, as well as a certification in Accounting. Furthermore, he had earned a certification in Computer Science and Digital Electronics from Mission Valley ROP prior to college. Barik’s past education and achievements have helped equip him with the skills and tools that will allow him to succeed in his line of work dealing with the constantly evolving world of business and technology.
