Database Management System Transformation
The goal of our project was to help CityTeam transition from Excel-based Gift-In-Kind (GIK) donation tracking to a more reliable and scalable Database Management System using DonorPerfect. We successfully configured the software, migrated historical and current data, and provided user training to support accurate, secure, and flexible data management across multiple locations. Through this experience, we learned the importance of clear communication with stakeholders, the challenges of data consistency across departments, and the value of proper scope and risk management in system implementation projects.
