Spring ’25 STEM Undergraduate Students Job/Internship Fair Day 1
At the STEM Job Fair, I got to meet employers offering jobs and internships for students in STEM majors. I learned about different career opportunities in business and technology, what companies look for in job applicants, and how to make a good impression when talking to recruiters. The event also showed me how important it is to research companies ahead of time and prepare questions to ask employers.
This job fair was helpful for my MIS major because networking and learning about different industries are important for finding jobs. Many companies were looking for students with technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and business knowledge, which are key parts of MIS. Attending this event gave me a better idea of what employers expect and how I can improve my resume and interview skills. Overall, this experience helped me explore career options, connect with professionals, and feel more confident about my future job search.
