Adobe’s Experimental Horizons
This two day workshop and symposium on experience design, brings together experts in the fields of product design, architecture, service design, graphic design, and engineering, alongside SJSU students, faculty, and staff at the Adobe Tower.
TOPICS: on The Role of AI in Design, Human Machine Collaborations, Sensory Immersion and Experience, and Beyond the App/How Experiences are Evolving. This project offers an opportunity to bring together industry experts, alumni, and SJSU students and faculty from the MDes Experience Design (XD), MS Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) and MA Research and Experimental Psychology graduate programs. Speakers and activities will explore how experiences are being re-invented in the experience age, the re-imagining of impacts and applications for artificial intelligence and other new technologies, and a re-conceptualization of what’s next for how designers will shape the experiences of the future. A day long symposium that will include a keynote and four panel discussions on topics related to: The Role of AI in Design, Human Machine Collaborations, Sensory Immersion and Experience, and Beyond the App: How Experiences are Evolving.
