Effective Listening

This course reflected on some conscious reminders of active listening. Example, managing internal and external distractions while listening to someone. Following up with paraphrasing and asking questions shows that you were interested in the conversation. The listening intentions like empathic and appreciative listening are also important to show respect for your coworkers. In a field of business and marketing, where there is a lot of collaborative work it becomes vital to have diverse thoughts and ideas. This is where active listening needs to be applied for holistic goal achievements.
