- Maintained router firmware updates: Ensured router reliability and security by implementing a leapfrogging strategy—keeping a backup of the previous version while upgrading to the latest firmware.

Troubleshot and resolved A/V issues: Assisted in resolving audiovisual problems across classrooms and meeting spaces, ensuring seamless presentations and communication.

Technical support for staff: Took lead in addressing staff’s IT related issues, including software updates, and supporting them through changes.

Network performance monitoring: Regularly monitored network performance to identify and resolve potential issues, on network that consisting of a wide range of wired and wireless connections, supported by switches, routers, access points, as well as copper and fiber-optics connections.

I have learned to work alongside a team, understanding different communication styles to create technical solutions for business needs. For example, when a teacher needed additional space to maintain large data files, I researched and implemented an upgraded storage system that fit her needs and the school budget. I gained valuable insights into how to address operational needs with the right technical solutions, while also considering user-specific requirements and business constraints.
