Effective Listening
Often times I feel as though humans love to talk about themselves. Even in a work environment, we sometimes always want to be the first to pitch our ideas, to give priority to our own strategies and during meetings not giving everyone the opportunity to speak. This course helped me to understand cues and to slow down, to be more attentive and to acknowledge my selective listening. Although my quality of work and throughput is great, listening is important as it builds your network which is the key to being a successful manager.
