Learning Data Science: Ask Great Questions
In this course, I learned how to utilize my critical thinking skills to ask productive and meaningful questions in a business setting. Knowing these skills allows me to not only feel more comfortable with asking questions but also gain a better understanding of others’ questions and how to evaluate them.
The modules each employed different techniques for approaching and creating questions. Going through the reasoning of an argument can raise questions about credibility and research. Encouraging others and minimizing judgment can foster openness in meetings. Challenging evidence and overcoming bias allows for more possibilities and routes a company can take. These skills altogether enable professionals to maximize insights and increase productivity in meetings. As a Business student at SJSU, utilizing this skill can help me become more confident in my future decisions and lead me towards success.
