This course helped me understand how organizations set their direction—by analyzing their environment, defining priorities, and choosing the projects that actually support their mission. For MIS, this matters because information systems only work when they’re aligned with a clear strategy. It showed me how technology decisions, data needs, and process design all fit into the bigger picture of helping a company execute its long-term goals.
