Effective Listening
1. From this module, I learned that effective listening can make the biggest difference in one’s performance ability. In order to do the best work, knowing how to truly listen can help with this in many ways. For example, maintaining eye contact and focusing on the main points of the speakers speech can help attention span and the information retention by large amounts. Just by doing these things alone, they can truly change the way one can work. This will be incredibly helpful for my future career and majoring in MIS because there are a large amount of meetings and speaker events, so if I know the best ways to effectively listen, I can stay on top of everything.
