Stock Associate
As a Stock Associate at Hollister Co., I am responsible for replenishing merchandise, maintaining store organization, and supporting sales operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork to ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers. I assist with product inquiries, process cash transactions, and collaborate with sales associates and managers to maintain efficient store operations. Additionally, I participate in inventory counts and audits, applying data entry and basic analytical skills to track stock accuracy. This experience has strengthened my ability to manage inventory systems, analyze data, and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment—skills that directly relate to my Management Information Systems (MIS) coursework at San Jose State University. My responsibilities in inventory tracking and audits align with concepts from Data Management and Analytics, while balancing stockroom duties and customer service has refined my problem-solving and time management abilities, which are critical in Operations and Supply Chain Management.
