Treasurer
As the ASB Treasurer for AIM SJSU from June 2023 to December 2023, I managed the organization’s financial operations, ensuring transparency and accountability. My responsibilities included collecting and managing all forms of income, maintaining detailed financial records, and providing regular financial updates to support decision-making. I played a key role in budgeting for events, allocating funds for networking sessions, speaker panels, and student workshops while ensuring financial sustainability. Additionally, I contributed to sponsorship and fundraising initiatives, helping secure additional resources for the organization. Through this role, I gained valuable experience in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning, which directly align with my Management Information Systems major. This experience strengthened my analytical and communication skills, particularly in financial reporting and collaboration, which are essential for roles in IT analysis and project management.
