Economist Presentation
I recently worked on an economist project (The Economist Presentation – Lokesh Mallagi) that explored three significant real-world topics and their connections to business. First, I analyzed why America’s tech giants have gotten bigger and stronger, focusing on their ability to innovate and dominate markets through data control, mergers, and economies of scale. This growth impacts global business competition and regulatory challenges.
Next, I presented on AI’s impact on chipmaking, discussing how AI advancements are pushing the demand for specialized chips, bringing chip manufacturing back into the spotlight. This shift highlights the strategic importance of semiconductor businesses and global supply chains in tech-driven industries.
Lastly, I explored the coming food catastrophe, where climate change, supply chain issues, and population growth threaten global food security. Businesses in agriculture, food tech, and sustainability need to innovate to manage these risks.
Each topic emphasized the evolving role of businesses in responding to and shaping these critical challenges across industries.
