Effective Listening
In this module, I assessed my active listening skills and learned how to listen with empathy. I explored when and how to listen effectively, as well as the challenges that can arise in the process. The module was eye-opening, as I realized I tend to get distracted, and I’ve set a personal goal to improve my listening skills.
This is particularly important for me as an MIS major, since my future career will involve engaging with various stakeholders to understand their problems and needs. To build and maintain strong working relationships, I’ll need to hone my listening abilities and become more attuned to body language
