Effective Listening (2019)
Listening is a real skill that takes effort, and to get better at it you need to stop letting your own thoughts distract you, avoid multitasking, and actually focus on the person talking by picking up on their body language, staying quiet when needed, and making sure they feel understood. This is important for MIS because if you miss what the customer or boss is asking for, you end up with technology does the wrong thing.
